![]() But in Planetfall, having to spam cities to control territory and have a functional economy just became busy-work-clicking by endgame to manage them all. I could certainly be wrong, and maybe I'll feel like the city cap is too low. I think fewer cities is the price we will pay for having split production (one I am only too glad to pay), and I think with cities having way more sector choices to incorporate, as well as making meaningful choices each time a sector is added, I'm cautiously optimistic that cities are going to be much more fun to build, with more character, as way more building choices means way more possibilities for customization, making cities feel different and unique. ![]() ![]() From the last dev-play video (underground dwarves), it looks like cities are going to be *much* larger than in planetfall, with 10+ sectors by midgame ( or early midgame, I don't really know how far along that loaded save was with the dwarves), but my point is, with construction and unit production separate now, managing 6 giant cities is going to require the production micro of managing 12. ![]()
